Gambit/Sivad, or GAMBIT/SIVAD, is a general purpose parallel simulation software for CFD applications. It runs on the SUNSPARC64 OS. It has been adapted from GSP(Gambit/SGI) for 64 bit architectures. FLUENT is a commercial CFD code available in ANSYS Workbench. GAMS/MP (Gambit/Multiphase) is a software package for parallel simulation of multiphase flows in CFD applications. It runs on the SUNSPARC64 OS. It has been adapted from GSP(Gambit/SGI) for 64 bit architectures. To determine the spectrum of peripheral nerve tumours that can be characterized using magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). Between September 1997 and September 2002, 80 patients with suspected peripheral nerve tumours were referred for MR imaging. Sixteen were excluded owing to no evidence of peripheral nerve tumours (13 cases), referral for MRI of suspected intracranial lesion (2 cases), or inadequate nerve tumour seen on MRI (1 case). Out of the remaining 64 patients (age range: 7-74 years; mean age: 25 years), 54 showed evidence of peripheral nerve tumours on MRI. Twenty-four patients (43 per cent) had extraspinal, while 30 (56 per cent) had extraspinal lesions. Findings were based on T1-weighted, T2-weighted and short time inversion recovery (STIR) images 570a42141b
